|
Design and coordinate the construction of both new and replacement pipeline gathering systems, and related appurtenant facilities.
- Responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of pipeline, compressors and related field operations
- Assists in design of cathodic protection systems and performs corrosion monitoring and testing
- Prepares cost estimates & AFE's for capital projects
- Interacts with region and headquarters staff as necessary
- Plans and/or supervises new facilities installation and/or replacement
- Orders project materials and verifies that all materials comply with project specifications
- Compiles and submits data for as-built project drawings to mapping department and facility records
- Start, stop and operate engines to maintain designated operating parameters
- Ensure the cost effective and efficient performance of all engines and associated equipment
- Direct the installation, repair, service and maintenance of valves, pipe, pipeline and appurtenances
- Responsible for directing the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including pipeline right-of-way, such as excavating, repairing, coating and backfilling pipelines, concrete work, painting, building erection, etc
- Oversee construction and maintenance activities by third parties
- Perform governmental compliance activities, such as line patrol, road and railroad crossing inspections, and valve inspections
- Oversee the completion of all applicable documentation and record keeping
- Represent CM during contact with landowner/tenants, public officials/emergency officials and at local meetings
- Assist with cash flow management, cost monitoring and control
- Participate in the development of O&M; Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes and work plans
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist personnel in performing technical and non-technical tasks, including gas quality determinations, gas sampling, and measurement checks
- Provide oral and written communication of activities to appropriate personnel
- Other related duties as assigned
