Mid Sized engineering firm is looking for an experienced Pipeline Corrosion Engineer in Denver, Colorado for a six month contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will possess a background in the Gas Transmission and Distribution, Oil and Gas or the Nuclear Power industry. You should have piping and/or corrosion engineering, and field related experience as further described in the technical qualifications section below. Ideal candidate: - Strong foundation in pipeline engineering fundamentals (overpressure protection, design, etc.) - Fundamental understanding of cathodic protection - Familiar with codes/standards applicable to pipeline corrosion and inspection (ASTM, API, ASME, NACE, etc.) - NACE certifications desired: Pipeline Integrity, Cathodic Protection or Coatings - Experienced Project Manager in managing scope, schedule, resources, and project budgets - Must be willing to work periodically within a nuclear power plant setting when performing work or interacting with clients while on-site - Must be able to satisfy NRC Fitness for Duty (FFD) requirements, and qualify for “Unescorted Access” authorization into US nuclear power plants If you meet the minimum requirements for this position please submit an updated resume for review and call Jillian: 303.224.4468
