Role: Sr. lead chief inspector of natural gas line installations related to the Marcellus Shale & Utica Shale Gas plays. Travel to north central and southwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. Individual will be responsible for oversight of all construction activtities to include - Row clearing, ditching, pipe hauling and stringing, welding, coating inspection, depth of cover, R.O.W clean up, reporting, daily reports, GPS of welds, bends fittings, atmosphere coatings applications, supervision of specific inspectors on projects, saftey & standards compliance, R.O.W clean up, access road maintenance safety barriers, trench box requirements and other duties as may be needed by client. Responsible for completing as-built drawings. Qualifications - GED or High School diploma required. Associates degree in engineering preferred.
- 10 years of experience inspecting gas line installations required.
- DOT operatorqualifications certified
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ability to navigate through company Internet based systems.
- AWS welding certification and certified inspector certification desirable.
