Summary

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a full time position as an Apprentice Shipboard Corrosion Assessor at our National City, CA location. This position will include classroom and on the job training to reach the full performance level. Candidate will be responsible for conducting corrosion assessments for exterior and interior structural systems as directed by a senior assessor, including but not limited to shipboard coating systems, cathodic protection systems, compartment structure, support structure, tanks, magazines, sponsons, bulkheads, catwalks, superstructure, deckhouse, island, and foundations. The assessor is responsible for documenting conditions found on the forms and in the systems defined by the customer receiving the service.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in shipyard structural repairs and marine coating systems.
• Must be able to physically access ships in dry docks, tanks and voids, various compartments and spaces, and external hull and superstructure.
• Must be able to support various schedules for shipyard work.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
