Supervise personnel and operations of the Paint & Silkscreen Departments.


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Brings to the attention of management, problems which affect the production / quality of the area for which responsible.
  • Completes all assignments in a timely manner and procedures are followed.
  • Meets production schedules on delivery requirements.
  • Directly supervises the activities of subordinate employees by making work assignments, checking set-ups, work methods and examining finished work for quality and compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
  • Report directly to Site Manager. Responsible for assisting manager in day to day shift operations.
  • Develops employee groups into effective teams focusing on the continual improvement of processes within the facility.
  • Assures all assignments are done in a timely manner and procedures are followed by all employees.
  • Used as a resource to resolve technical problems in area of expertise.
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory status.
  • Coordinates production schedules to meet delivery requirements.
  • Ensures jobs are released in a timely manner by knowing the requirements of the job and maintaining dispatch reports.
  • Plans the next job to be run on each workstation.
  • Responsible to ensure that all work is accounted to the proper router or work order and all employees are logged on the proper sequence and job operation.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of all products during the shift.
  • Completely understands priorities by using dispatch and the backlog reports to prioritize and expedite jobs.
Provide input on employee evaluation and training needs.
