Our client is a strategic supplier of drilling fluid chemicals and equipment used directly in hydraulic shale gas fracturing and drilling operations in Texas, Louisiana and other key shale gas reserves located throughout the U.S. As the Regional Customer Service/Sales Representative you will have complete responsibility for managing the existing relationships and ongoing product and service needs of current gas well drilling and fracking customers located in Southwest Texas.



Essential Job Functions include:

  • Manage the day to day orders and needs of existing customers in the region.
  • Maintain relationships and contact with customers via phone and site visits to ensure their drilling/frac chemicals and supplies are being ordered and delivered as needed.
  • Prepare forecasts for future orders to ensure sufficient inventory of chemicals and supplies is available in order to provide just-in-time deliveries when needed.
  • Coordinate all logistics functions with regional storage/warehouse personnel.
  • Provide back-up support for Warehouse Manager as needed, which may include operating a fork truck, purchasing materials, or handling shipping/receiving logistics.
  • Complete all associated paperwork and routine progress reports as needed (invoicing, purchase orders, bill of materials, return material authorizations, certificates of analysis, MSDS, etc.) to maintain organization and proper compliance.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with approved/qualified vendors.
  • Establish and maintain excellent rapport with internal and external customers.
