Corrosion Engineer Job
Immediate hire for a Contract NACE CP-4 Corrosion Engineer that specializes in energy, power, utility. Responsibilities - Plan and perform duties such as testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems to mitigate corrosion on pipes and sub-surface or submerged structures
- Provide specific objectives and instruction for staff from customer drawings and specifications.
- Gather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data, and interpret data.
- Approve drawings of rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features for Installation.
Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or other Engineering from an accredited University.
- Must be NACE International (Nation Association of Corrosion Engineers) certified CP-4
- Familiar with regulatory requirements and documentationas well as familiar with California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) General Order (GO) E-112 and Federal Pipeline Safety Regulations Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR), Parts 190, 191, 192, 193, and 195
