Our customers’ application requirements include close dimensional tolerances, and demanding combinations of strength & stiffness, surface hardness, lubricity, creep resistance, conductivity and chemical/corrosion resistance. We need:
An energetic and results-oriented Technical Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will have the necessary skills, experience and desire to become the key point of contact and manage all customer-facing aspects of our business within selected industries. Responsibilities include:
- Develop plans and achieve revenue targets defined together with the VP of Sales & Marketing;
- Conduct research and understand key application drivers, market size, competitors, etc.;
- Set strategies to drive innovation, i.e., identify current product/solution gaps; develop business cases for new products; identify technology providers and partners that can help fast track new products;
- Work closely with our engineers and materials scientists to identify product solutions;
- Interact effectively and regularly with other members of the sales & marketing team, engineering/product development, purchasing, production, quality, and senior managers;
- Provide product education and customer-facing marketing collateral;
- Develop winning proposals customers that best satisfy their needs in terms of performance, quality, price and delivery - negotiate prices and terms & conditions that meet customer and company needs;
- Conduct research and develop an in-depth understanding of the market space, including industry size, key customers, competitive suppliers and products and complimentary products;
