Leading manufacturer of high performance industrial coatings and division of Fortune 200 Company has an opening for a Market Development Manager for the Pipe segment. Preferred candidate will be located in the Southeast, South Central, Rocky Mountain or West Coast region. This position has the responsibility for identifying, qualifying, pursing and development of new product and marketing opportunities with the objective to sustain and increase sales volume in the Pipe segment. Activities include identifying long term projects, analyzing applications, making product recommendations, and obtaining specification approvals. 40%-70% travel. Territory covered includes the United States as well as International destinations.
This position requires good organizational, mathematical and communication skills, computer literacy, professionalism and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. The ability to formalize and conduct training programs is also required. Interaction with all degrees of customers is essential.
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of industrial coating sales experience, and preferably a college degree in a related field. NACE & SSPC certification preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
