The Area Manager is responsible for generating food product sales by providing customers with value added services, exceptional customer service and attention to customer profitability.
The Area Manager positions are front line sales positions in designated sales areas. Successful candidates must have 3-5 years of broadline food distribution sales experience and a proven track record of sales including cold calling.
The Area Manager position will perform the following duties:
• Manage a geographical sales territory ensuring that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.
• Regularly call on existing and potential customers.
• Develop and execute business plans.
• Effectively manage time and resources to attain results.
• Build business through support of company branded products.
• Manage pricing and monitors credit term compliance.
