!*! The Business Analysis Manager will be playing a key role in analyzing and directing activity in large national retail accounts. This person will be responsible for the evaluation of the performance of all product lines within T-Mobile's key National Retail partner and deliver critical business analysis reporting to the account team, field leadership and other cross functional teams. This position is responsible for defining and tracking the success of all business impacting sales initiatives within one of T-Mobile's major strategic National Retail partners. This includes:
- Evaluating individual door count performance,
- Assessing the mix of field support levels,
- Monitoring product performance by market,
- Conducting post mortem analysis on trial/test initiatives
- Forecasting the impact to sales from various market changes.
In addition to the above mentioned support functions, the Business Analysis Manager will also be expected to deliver ad hoc reporting to leadership as well as identifying opportunities to improve process efficiencies within the account. This will involve heavy data manipulation activities such as; extracting, analyzing and maintaining critical reports on various product types by partner as well as creating heat indexes, dashboards and executive summaries with the intent to provide each account management team with insights on growing sales. In addition to data analytics, the role will also be required to provide regular feedback to National Retail leadership and facilitate the implementation of any business improvement recommendations. This will require working cross functionally with Field Support, Account Teams, Channel Management and other operations teams to ensure excellent execution. The ideal candidate should be a subject matter expert in National Retail as well as background with retailer POS tracking platforms such as Retail Link, familiarity with SQL, Excel and PowerPoint as well as the ability to synthesize data and confidently deliver findings to a broad audience. Strong presentation and communication skills and a proven ability to engage multiple levels of the enterprise is a must. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage account reporting data and deliver reports to Account Team
- Identify business efficiency opportunities and present recommendations to National Retail leadership
- Provide leadership and direct support to other members of the National Retail Operations team
- Facilitate root cause analysis on data anomalies and conduct primary and secondary research to validate (this may involve travel)
- Assist in on-boarding, developing and mentoring new operations analysts
- Ability to identify the tradeoffs and priorities of initiatives and tasks with limited supervision.
- Ability to represent the Sales organization across the business and gain consensus with business partners.
- Ability to do cost/benefit analysis and identify initiatives that will have the greatest benefit for Sales.
- Ability to implement day-to-day changes that complement the long term department strategy and roadmap.
