The Sherwin-Williams Company is a world industry leader in the manufacturing, distribution, and sales of paint coatings and related products. The Product-Finishes Division of Sherwin-Williams provides specialized industrial paint coatings to manufacturers of wood, metal, and plastic products. We are currently seeking a part-time Regional Office Coordinator for our East Region office.
The Regional Office Coodinator provides administrative support to the East Region management team of the Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes Division, including the Regional Sales Director, Regional Facility Manager, and Regional Human Resources Manager. The Coordinator develops and maintains various reports and completes special projects as directed by Regional management. Exceptional computer skills are necessary, including proficiency in Microsoft Office related software, with experience in additional software programs being beneficial. The Coordinator manages the Regional office, evaluates the most effective and efficient manner to handle daily tasks, makes decisions that affect the daily operation of the office, and evaluates circumstances which may or may not require the attention of Regional Management. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, past experience in project management, strong decision-making skills, and discernment in handling complex situations are requirements for this position.
The Coordinator also serves as a centralized resouce to other region management by providing solutions and answers on their various inquiries. Good interpersonal skills, effective communication both orally and verbally, and the ability to provide professional support to all levels of management is required. Past experience providing support to executive-level management is preferred.
The Coordinator assists with Human Resources related tasks, including answering questions on policies and procedures and Company benefits, as well as, assisting with other Human Resources functions, such as, new employee recruitment, interview scheduling, facilitiation of new employee hiring, processing of background checks, drug screen scheduling, and maintaining employment records. Attention to detail and accuracy in completed work are very critical skills required for this position.

High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and the ability to sucessfully pass a background investigation and drug screening are required.
