Ferguson Construction, Inc. of Seattle, WA, was awarded a contract of $27,394,514 by Seattle Public Utilities to construct a new 60 MG, dual-cell, cast-in-place reinforced concrete reservoir. The project requires demolition of an existing 60 MG reservoir, which includes lead-based paint and asbestos abatement. The new construction includes waterproofing below-grade roof surfaces with a 100%-solids, reinforced, hot-fluid-applied waterproofing membrane. The project also includes protective coatings application on various steel and concrete substrates.
