Duggan Construction of Seattle, WA, was awarded a contract of $38,820 by the National Park Service, Pacific West Regional Office, to repaint the Old Point Loma Lighthouse facility. The lighthouse was built in 1854 to guide ships into the San Diego Bay. The project involves applying acrylic and latex paint systems to 2,700 square feet of exterior lighthouse surfaces, 1,750 square feet of keeper’s quarters surfaces, 5,000 square feet of picket fencing, 100 square feet of flagpole surfaces, and 95 linear feet of gutters and downspouts.
