Coating Contracts for Delaware Memorial Bridge Out-to-Bid

The Delaware River and Bay Authority will accept sealed bids on April 29th, 2010, for two painting projects on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, dual suspension bridges that span the Delaware River. The owner will accept separate bids for coatings work on the West girder spans of the 10,765-foot-long First structure (Eastbound) and the 10,796-foot-long Second structure (Westbound). Both projects involve spot-power-tool cleaning and overcoating in excess of 600,000 square feet of steel on the bridges.
