New York Power Authority Bids Crane Coating Contract

The New York Power Authority will accept sealed bids on April 30th, 2010, for coatings work on a 15-ton gantry crane at the St. Lawrence/FDR Power Project. The project involves performing lead abatement and coatings application on all accessible crane surfaces. The crane will be recoated with an alkyd, epoxy-polyurethane, or epoxy-polysiloxane coating system. The contract includes furnishing a NACE-certified coatings inspector as part of the quality control plan.
