Purcell Painting and Coatings Wins Reservoir Painting Bid

Purcell Painting and Coatings of Tukwila, WA, secured a contract of $544,758 from the City of Roseburg, OR, to recoat exterior and interior surfaces of a 4 MG steel reservoir and to spot-coat two 800,000 gallon tanks. The exterior surfaces will be cleaned and coated with a urethane system. The interior surfaces will be abrasive blast-cleaned to a Near White finish (SSPC-SP 10) and coated with an epoxy system; the contract requires the use of dehumidification equipment to facilitate proper curing. The project also includes installing a new cathodic protection system.
