Phoenix Coatings to Recoat Equestrian Center

Phoenix Coatings, Inc. of Pensacola, FL, was recently awarded a contract of $241,500 by Escambia County to clean and recoat steel surfaces in the main arena and stall barns at the Escambia County Equestrian Center. The project involves cleaning and recoating steel beams, girts, purlins, columns, handrails, and other exposed metal in the main arena and three stall barns at the facility. The steel will be pressure-washed and power-tool cleaned (SSPC-SP 3) and coated with an epoxy penetrating sealer and two coats of waterborne finish.
