Manolis Painting Wins M&T; Bank Stadium Project

Manolis Painting Co. of Timonium, MD, was awarded a contract of $46,500 by the Maryland Stadium Authority to clean and recoat upper deck structural steel supports at M&T Bank Stadium. The 1.6-million-square-feet, 71,008-person-capacity structure is home to the National Football League's Baltimore Ravens. Surface preparation will include spot power-tool cleaning (SSPC-SP 11), brush-off abrasive blast-cleaning (SSPC-SP 7), and sanding. The steel will be spot-primed and coated with a moisture-cured urethane system.
