The project addresses sections of the Aqueducts at Indian Slough in Contra Costa County and Trapper Slough, Holt Bend, and Black Slough in San Joaquin County. This work is part of a periodic maintenance program to safeguard the structural integrity of these vital water transmission pipelines.

The project includes recoating 6,236 linear feet of 65-inch-diameter piping, 5,581 linear feet of 69-inch-diameter piping, and 5,998 linear feet of 89.5-inch-diameter piping (17,815 linear feet total). Pipe supports, appurtenances and related work are required, and the project runs over land and water.
SSPC-QP 1 and QP 2 certification are required. The existing coatings contain lead; Class 1A containment (SSPC-Guide 6) is required.
