The complex features a modern nine-stall milking parlor with a combination of side-open and herringbone stalls and 1,200-gallon milk holding tank.
The housing area accommodates about 300 head of cattle and is also equipped to handle smaller livestock, including sheep and goats, the university noted.
The Project
The project includes cleaning and coating overhead structural steel roof support, beams and sprinkler pipes for the housing area of the cattle complex.

The metal is to be water blasted and coated with a rust-penetrating epoxy sealer and an industrial enamel finish, according to bid documents.
