The interior wall surfaces will be cleaned and coated with a zero- or low-VOC waterborne system. When mold or mildew is present, surfaces will be washed, and existing coatings and contaminants will be removed. Shiny surfaces should be de-glossed by sanding.
The contractor will be allowed to remove a small section of each wall surface to obtain an exact color match to the previous coatings, according to the bid documents.
Damaged areas are to be touched up before completion.
